What a full week it has been! But a good week by my book. I've had busy days and easy days, quizzes and cancelled classes, late nights and early mornings, but it's all in a week's work, right? Right.
The weekend did arrive, and boy am I glad for it. I'm home for a few days and am glad for that chance. I love, love, love sitting on the couch watching chick flicks with my mom or sitting on the floor of the den watching Treasure Planet with Mitchell. It's a nice simplicity and routine. Man, that little boy holds a special place in my heart. I can't believe he's seven! He's growing up too fast. Someone --coughRosscough-- pointed out that he'll be driving in nine years. O.O Talk about strange to think about. Mitchell is doing so well though. He's learning so much Spanish (way more than I ever learned) and is getting so tall. He's growing up on me.
Shelby hasn't been in yet, but I'm sure she'll be around sometime. She, mom and I are getting pedicures tomorrow; a little girl-time is in order I think :) Afterwards, I'm hanging out with Colton tomorrow afternoon and may stop by my grandparents house for a while.
Being away really made me realize how often I took for granted being home and around my family all the time. I know I don't call or keep in touch as often or as well as I should, but I'm working on it. God has blessed me with amazing parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends and I definitely want to take advantage of the gifts He's given me :]
Speaking of friends, I would definitely have to agree that making new friends is definitely a blessing, too! I definitely appreciate you putting up with me this week, Dillon ;P And I hope you dont mind but I'll probably keep bothering you from time to time :) Wicked is going to be wonderful!
Short update today, but it's something. Good night all!
